Hello to all,
My first car was a 64 Fairlane 500 2dr HT which I still own today. It have owned it 29 years. Sure did go by fast. It currently is covered in dust and next on the project list.

I actually have a 68 Mercury Monterey. Not exactly a Galaxie but it has the same roof.

Im not sure if this helps but my 68 squire has a relay on the firewall for the tailgates power window. I have looked but I havent been able to find a new one yet.

I think I have some vent window cranks. You might have to change the knob for your interior color. I may also have some armrest. I will have to check my parts. Let me know if your still looking for them.

Full size Merc parts are really hard to find. I looked 2 years for a NOS qter for my 68. Yes 67 and 68 qters are the same. Looking forward to seeing your progress. Does your Marquis have the 410 engine?

My Mercury has been sitting for about 2 years now but it has been started from time to time. I keep Sea foam in the tank but my problem is when you shut the car off it is really hard to start if it sits for 10 to 15 minutes. It seems to be flooded. I guess its time for a rebuild. It has the stock 2100 carb on it. The fuel seems to keep dripping down in the intake after you shut the car off. Anyone ever have this problem?

Welcome aboard Finman, Im happy to see another Mercury Man. I too have a 67 Marquis and I am currently restoring a 68 Monterey. We would love to see pics of your car.
