I have the above car and would like to upgrade the suspension and steering.
Anyone have any ideas as what to use?
Thanks keyma2469@aol.com

The term "upgrade" can cover a lot of ground with respect to suspension AND steering; e.g., cost, time etc
While others, notably the site owner, can offer a boatload of insights, perhaps some goals and/or at least some of the issues you'd like to resolve? For instance, I've found over the years that replacing worn components and ensuring the stock steering box is correctly lubricated make a world of difference.
Speaking of Daze, here's a six page thread about work on a '62 Galaxie which strikes me as covering the most extensive "upgrade" you're likely to read about.

Depends how deep you want to get into it?
If you want to refresh, I would go with upgrading to a 1" front sway bar and replacing worn steering components, suspension bushings, and some new shocks.
If you want to go custom, I would go with rack and pinion steering and coil over adjustable shocks. There are some threads on this forum on these modifications.

The upgrades mentioned above are a great jumping off point and will improve your handling quite a bit. SO will going with a rear sway bar to compliment the front.
