thanks for the advise it turned out to be a bad neutral saftey switch by passed switch and it cranked

when i got the car it had a aftermarket switch wired directly to the ignition coil a lot of wires were burnt under the dash and hood replaced dash harness and repaired underhood wiring got the correct switch in and wired like my other 1963 and it wont turn over but i can bypass the solenoid and it turns over any ideal to point me in to trouble shoot my problem

I just bought a 1963 Galaxie 2dr sedan the previous owner replaced the ignition switch with a universal one and wired it straight to the coil and cut and removed all wires to the voltage regulator and converted it to alternator but no voltage regulator does any one have a wiring diagram for the 63 galaxie.

Need help I bought a 1964 Galaxie with the gas tank already removed does anyone have pictures on how and where the gas tank bolts up. also I think my j bolts have been cut what is the correct length for the j bolts

Hi I am new at being a Galaxie owner been a 1972 Gran Torino owner since 1987. I just bought my first galaxie and was wondering what the difference was between the 500 and 500xl my car came with rocker molding fender skirts and the pedal type door handles and bench seat. the dash has the slot for the swing away steering column but not the swing away steering column can any one tell me if I have a special order car or was these items also available on the 500
