Question is that the new filter won’t fit snug enough to where the filter won’t fall off. It’s 3/8 fuel pipe and I made sure I ordered the correct filter for that particular year and sending unit. I've just checked with 3 of the Ford supply stores and none have or can tell me about my brake pedal..
It looks like it's for a power brake setup, yet my car came with manual brakes...
It is not a removable cover but it is molded onto the metal...
I don't know if I peeled off the rubber if a "cover' will work..
Anyone run into this?

Every car brake pedal after 1948 has a separate replaceable rubber pad.

What did you drive to El Smellgundo, the Galaxie or the Packard?
When I owned both (1963 1/2 Galaxie 500XL F/B and 1956 Packard 400 H/T), took the Packard unless it was a Ford only show.

C4 (introduced 1964) was not installed with FE engines.
FE's could have, depending on the year, FX & MX Cruise-O-Matic, C6.

Hey, I'm trying to find the original ??? Motorcraft
belt part numbers for my '63 Galaxie Sunliner.
Gates 9385 or ACDelco 17385 is a 15/32" x 38 7/8" Power Steering Non A/C for 352 FE. Need Motorcraft equivalent please.
Gates 7448 or ACDelco 15448 is a 13/32" x 45 3/8" Fan to Generator Non A/C for 352 FE. Need Motorcraft equivalent please and many thanks.
Scrambling for the Galaxie Nationals, truly want the right belts spinning under the hood.
No such thing as Motorcraft until the early 1970's, the belts would have been Auto-Lite owned back then by FoMoCo.
