Here is a fairly simple way to replace your old cardboard trunk panels. I fabricated a jig out of cardboard and paper by trial and error and transfered the pattern to 1/4'' plywood. I reinforced the back of the panels with one strip of 1,1/4"x 1,1/4" hardwood to keep them straight. The panels were then covered in a gray carbon fiber pattern vinyl. I then epoxy glued some magnets to the back of the panel. I then screwed a few metal brackets(1"angle iron) to the trunk floor for the magnets to attach. I located some of the magnets to adhere to the metal lip on the rear wheel wells. Holds solid and is easily removable if you need to access the rear tail lights.

Looks great. I really like the rubber mat in the bottom as well.
