Do most 64 xl's have power steering and brakes?

Re: 64xl

by 64 I think most Galaxies had power steering and brakes.  Their big cars and the power assist in both areas was a must.

my '66 has power steering but NO power brakes, just manual drums all the way around. It came from the factorty that way. You'd be surprised how well it stops, even "panic" stopping. Drum brakes work very well when maintained properly. No power assist does require some extra pedal pressure. But even this scrawny old man has no difficulty in that area,

Other details: 352 cubic inch engine w/ 4v carb, automatic transmission, factory airconditioning, factory cruise control. All are stil in place and operational. Car has 56,000 original miles,

Thats a great point, and I think I misspoke.  Most of these cars did come with power steering but power brakes were less common.  Safety was not as important in the 60s

Great pix, nice car!!!

I'm not certain you misspoke at all. You said "most", not ALL. Perhaps most did come with power everything, just pointing out one nice example that MAY be an exception.
