Re: Speedometer cable housing 1963 Galaxie

I was able to use the Mustang cable on my 62, I believe it is a 60" cable.  I however am running a T5 and I am not sure if it has the cable goin into the transmission in the relitavely same spot in relation to the car.  When I replaced mine the only sizes I could find were an 80" and a 60"

Re: Speedometer cable housing 1963 Galaxie

I bought a new 60" speedo cable from Summit for 20 bucks.   It seems to be longer than whats there.  It should do the trick.

Just a bit longer.  But all that it needed.  Bet that bend is why the speedo bounced.
