I've got a '59 Gal with the 292 Y block and manual trans. I've located a '59 parts car with an automatic transmission that I'd like to swap in- but it's mated to a 6 cylinder. Will the trans bolt up to my Y-block? If it does, I'll get the column, indicator, cross member, etc, and it would be much easier to drive.
