It seems my 62 Galaxie brake booster is mounted on a slightly downward angle. The push rod is angled, not straight. The mounting brackets tilt the booster downward toward the steering column. I sent the booster out for rebuild and it came back with a straight push rod. The rebuilder doesn't recall the angled push rod and is not seemingly willing to help resolve the issue. Does anybody have any knowledge or experience with this design? I am at a stanstill with the brake overhaul on this car. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks every one!
