I just went to my garage and noticed that my '62 Galaxie's taillights are on. I checked the headlight switch and it's off so I turned them on and off, the taillights are still on. I tried the turn signals and they work correctly but when I hit the brakes the brake lights don't come on and the taillights flicker on both sides. I'm wondering, do I start at the brake light switch, or what suggestions does someone on here have? I'm in the process of looking for a wiring diagram right now too.

In case anyone out there encounters the same problems, I got both issues figured out. The two wires going to the brake light switch were both corroded and loose. I cleaned them up good, tightened the wire ends with a pair of pliers and re-connected them. Brake lights work perfect. Now the taillights staying on problem, I pulled the lens off and it wasn't the actual tail lights staying on, it was the brake light portion of the "bulb" staying on but dimmer. When I say "bulb" it's because it's an LED replacement and not an actual 1157 bulb. I swapped both sides out with 1157's and that issue's fixed too.
