    69 Ford XL radiator swap

    Hi All,
    I'm trying to replace my radiator with a 3 core. The radiator I received is supposed to be for my car. 429 engine. The hose connections are smaller than the OEM hoses I got from NAPA. The radiator it has now, the bottom has a hose sleeve to make it fit. Seems to work ok. Are all the radiators like that or should I try for another one?

    Ran into the same thing on the aluminum radiator in my 61. My top hose has a sleeve in it also. Don't like it but it hasn't leaked in the past 3 yrs.
