Was also wondering if 8" would squeeze under the back with some 60's. Thanks in advance!

Re: Factory wheel and tire size for 1969 Galaxie 500 Convert?

Hi there.  I also have a '69 Galaxie 500 convertible.  It has 15" wheels and I'm running P225/75R tires.  I'm certain the wheels are stock as the car belonged to my father-in-law and there is no way he ever would have spent $ on changing the wheels on the car.

Would be interested in seeing pics of your car when you can send.

Cheers,

Doug

Depends on engine size and options. Standard would have been G78-15 or optional H78-15. Old style would have a call out of 8.25-15 for a G78. Hope this helps.
