428CJ Hint #2

There is a web site that has been very beneficial to me and I want to share it. I have existing wheels and tires that I have gotten the size, offset and backspacing information from. I then measured to future trouble spots that I could estimate to be a problem with different tires and rims and then recorded these dimensions. The web site is "tire size.com" and it has several "buttons" to answer several different questions. I used the one that  compares tire sizes. By entering my present dimensions of my existing tires as tire #1 and my future tire sizes as tire #2, I could ascertain what size that I could get away with and which I could not. This site also has a backspace calculator built in. Try it, you will like it, I am sure.

That is a great site, plenty of useful tools. The speedo and gear ratio calculators look real good.

This one is good, too, for comparing tire sizes. http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp
