    rear screen rubber

    hi. have just received rear glass rubber for my 67. it came with a roll of rubber tubing. any ideas what this is for? also does the gasket just glue into the recess or does it lap over using a cord?
    any advice eould be appreciated.

    What type of rubber tubing? Big? Little? Hollow? Is it as long as the window rubber? Etc, etc.

    its about as long as the screen rubber, its solid tubing and about 1/2 inch in diameter

    This image from the FSM does not show the rod, or spline, so I don't know what it is for, or how it is to be used.
    I was going to upload a JPG, but I don't see the button to do that anymore.
