carburetor identificiation

Hi I need help decoding a ford 4100 4v carburetor the tag has the following information on it
     C3AF R A 2LC
                        R
I would like to know the date of the carburetor and what the other no. mean I know that the C3AF is for 1963 Ford
any help would be welcomed                             Thanks in advance

I believe the 2LC is your date code. Works out to 2-62, L-Nov and C-3rd week.
The C3AF means C-decade, 3-year, A-car line (Ford, Tbird etc) F design department. In your case F means engine accessories. The R A is design changes. What they are I have no idea.
