Many years ago, my first car was a 64 Galaxie 500. It had only a 289 and three speed on the column. But like many people, I wish I had it back. So my goal is to find something as close to that as I can. I am not as concerned about the engine and transmission as I am the color.
After looking at some online color charts, I have come to the conclusion that my original car was probably Phoenician Yellow, with a beige or tan interior. Is there somewhere that I can verify that this would have been a normal color combination?

Hello and good on your for your focus. In terms of the actual combination, I personally doubt you'll be able to validate how common it was. At least, I've always thought that in those days, any exterior/interior combination could be ordered if one were willing to wait. For example, the interior could have been plain black. Maybe Mark Reyonds at the Galaxie Club of America may have a view. And, unfortunately, Ford's records before 1967 are long gone. As you run across '64s, you can decode the door (aka warranty) tag here.
