That MC pic looks very similar to the MC I am running on my hydroboost and my brakes grab immediately. Just a thought have you compared the length of your hydroboost pushrod to the depth of the pocket in the MC plunger?  if the pushrod is not quite long enough there would be no braking until the pushrod bottomed out in the MC plunger.

I thought of that as well. The master cylinder and hydroboost unit were removed as a set from donor. So I was thinking they should be a match. But regarding the push rod length, I wonder if I didn't set up the correct length of pushrod from the brake pedal arm to the hydroboost unit? I set it up so that the brake pedal would sit at the same distance from the firewall as factory? I have some adjustment on that pushrod available so I made it as long as I could. Haven't tried it yet as I can't drive car as I have an axle out of car. Looking for any and or other ideas. Thanks
