looking for feedback on 60-64 speaker kick panels

I see aftermarket suppliers offering up kick panels with the speaker hole and molded to allow for more room for the speakers.  Has anyone tried these?  What size speakers do they accomodate?  Will the emergency brake pedal be impeded?  How much speaker depth?  What speakers did you use??

Re: looking for feedback on 60-64 speaker kick panels

From the rhinofabrication.com site:We chose to test Alpine SPS410 and Polk Audio DB401 speakers. The depth of pod is approximately 1.75”. This pair of kick panels will accept a speaker grill with the outside diameter of 5.25”.  We machine a 4.0625″ diameter courtesy speaker opening in the panels to assist the installer in their installation process.  Your choice of speaker will dictate how much additional trimming may be required. In our test vehicles we choose to move the dimmer switch inboard 1.5” although that is not required just preferred for ease of operation of the switch. Also the foot operated parking brake needs to be adjusted into the upper range to restrict the pedal from traveling too far toward the floor.  Although the pedal will clear the top of the speaker pod the operator’s foot could contact the pod if upward adjustment is not completed.

I purchased a set of these panels without speaker pods. The panels are excellent quality and I am very happy how they fit.
