I finished up a console made from 1x4" red oak.Just needed something to throw my wallet, cell phone and maybe a drink in. I didn't like the original xl bucket seat consoles as they have no drink holder, most are made for floor shifters and it was too much$$ and too big. Still need to polyurathane. Using some 4 inch "L" brackets underneath to bolt to the hump. Used 3/8 inch dowel as a divider for the drink holders front and rear.

Nice. I have the factory console, and am going to make some sort of cup holder that will hold a fake yeti. They make a push in insert for the Cougar console so I already have one in my '68. I like the console/cupholder. So far aside from the heater fix I did a few days ago, I've done nothing to mine but drive it.

Recently I've just been walking past mine on the way to shovel snow. I've been fighting with the Dual Function Reservoir, fuel tank selector valve, on my 88 F150 for the last couple of weekends. It has been quite an adventure that still has a way to go.
