Anyone thought of a "Ride of the Month" post?

We have a "Ride of the Month" over at the classic cougar community, and it is VERY popular. It also seems to get the forum members engaged as well as giving them a chance to see each other's cars from afar, get a little history, as well as seeing a progressive photo documentary in each car's various stages. There is no criteria aside from nomination, so you see restorations, restomods, 2nd day cars, full on customs etc., and gives you a chance to appreciate each build.

Re: Anyone thought of a "Ride of the Month" post?

Can anyone tell me if the vacuum canister that is between the heater core and the engine is necessary.  Mine is cracked and rusted.  Can I just bypass it, what is the purpose of it.  Any help would be appreciated,
Joe

I bypassed the one on my wife's'79 Tbird for the same reason, and the heat works just fine going straight to and from the core to the engine.

Seems we don't get enough traffic to do this.  Also seems some members inadvertently jacking other threads may cause some issues.
