I've got a 61 galaxie - removed the gearbox to send out to have it rebuilt. my car has power steering (via valve / cylinder). appears our tax dollars have managed to lose my gearbox (and the pittman arm attached to it). i've sourced a gearbox from Lares and thought i had a pittman arm off eBay. the pittman arm has part number C0AA-3590-C. however, i don't think there's any way that this pittman arm is for a power steering car. i have a pic of the top of the taper stud with part of the pittman arm visible when it was originally on my car and the arm sits on top of the stud then curves toward the back of the car and around to the gearbox. the C0AA-3590-C would, if it sat on top of the stud, curve to the left and down instead of up. i've also sourced a C1MM-3590-C off eBay. i understand that's a Merc part and the pittman arm has no bend - it's just a curved piece.
Anybody know what the right part number is for a pittman arm for power steering car? could anybody send pics of theirs?

I have a steering box and a pittman arm from a 61 sitting in a box that I removed from my car. I will check the pittman arm for a part number and can take a pic for you. I need to get it out of storage first...I will get back to you.

Hope this helps. I tried to find markings on the pittman but it was really hard to see the part number stamping. This is what I could see for markings: Fomoco CMAZ C1AA 3590BE01.

Another picture to clarify. No bend in Pittman arm, it is flat. Power steering car.
