Molding list underneath backglas

After working with the backglas flange, the roof had to be painted. The list below the window was removed. When the list was removed, some cirkular units was under there. These was removed and left a square hole, each of them. What was thes units ment as? Guides? Is it just to seal the square holes with a sealer, or is it necessary to get new oneb like it was before the roof was painted? The main list only contains 3 clips, made for the 3 round holes on the body

Re: Molding list underneath backglas

The holes were likely for moulding clips. There may have been more and/or different type of clips if the car had a vinyl top. Whatever holes you don't use you want to be sure to seal up.

Re: Molding list underneath backglas

Thanks for info. Im gonna use small pieces of gasket material and glue them over the holes with a sealer. The same over the round holes for the 3 clipses, but it will be drilled holes in these gasket pieces that fits the bolts on the clips
