I have a 68 Galaxie 500 convertible.I am making a restomod. I am looking for tube upper and lower control arms. Does anyone know if the Cougar has the same suspension since almost no one sells parts after market for the Galaxie. I am putting in an air ride suspension. The rear has been re engineered for proper ride hight to match the front. How ever I am not satisfied with the stock lower control arms. I have replaced every bushing and steering part with ball joints. Just looking for advice.

Its highly unlikely. The Cougar is basically a Mustang in different Cloths. I am very familiar with mustang suspension parts. if you had any pix of your suspension I could look at it and tell you for sure but I would doubt they would work. Have you upgraded the sway bar that made a huge improvement in my old gal.

Fatman Fab makes tubular upper arms and spindles for earlier Galaxies, I believe, but I don't know if they have anything for the later cars.. I have also read threads on a different site where a guy used circle track tubular UCA's. I don't think anyone makes a lower arm, but you could plate the originals and get them as stiff and strong as possible. You'll not likely find many direct applications, but there are probably a lot of things out there that could, and will work.
