    1963.5 R code Galaxy transmission

    I want to put a Tremic 5 speed transmission in my 1963.5 galaxy. I do not want to cut the tunnel. Has anyone done this?

    I have a T5 in my 62.  I had to cut a hole where the shifter comes through and other than that, I didn't make any other modifications however my transmission tilts down a little further than I would like it to.
