Re: electric fuel pump question

Dan
no problem just sending out ideas people sent me for my 4.6 install
I eneded up using an external fuel pump and all the nylon fuel lines etc from a early 90's
pickup truck.
I tested it out and works perfectly.

Re: electric fuel pump question

Dan   Have you considered mounting an external frame mounted pump ? It should be able to pull through your stock sender and then you could retain the stock senders ability to maintain proper fuel gauge function. Assuming that's original. I am a new member so I am not sure what you have done to the car.    Carmine

Re: electric fuel pump question

Carmine,
Mounting an external fuel pump would definitely have been the easier way to go. That was my original plan. Many I talked to with fuel injection experience all recommended going with an in tank system, including the folks at Ron Francis wiring. Due to my lack of experience with this kind of stuff, I thought it would be wise to follow the advice I was given.
