I need a clutch pedal assembly for 1963 Galaxie

Anyone have one they're looking to part with?

Look on eBay. I see lots of odd parts like that. Try Owens Auto Salvage in Texas, they have lots of old Fords they're parting out.

I'll check out Owens Auto Salvage.  I've checked online and the three assemblies on eBay must be gold plated.

The ones I've seen for a '59 go for between $50 and $125.. fairly reasonable. But with the '63-64 Fords, everyone thinks they have something indigenous to a R code or Light Weight car.

True. It could be that everyone is trying to turn their '63 into a R-code or lightweight.

I have C6 transmission but would like something that robs a bit less power and has overdrive.  I like the new automatics but the controller cost is a big put off. So, I thought I'd swap in a modern manual. It could be the overall cash layout is the same for a modern manual or automatic but I admit I haven't done my homework.  Has anyone made that comparison before, i.e. cost of modern manual vs auto overdrive transmission swap into a'63 with a 390FE?
