While removing a little more paint from the firewall, I was able to see more clearly a marking number. I am reposting the marking to see if anyone can tell me what it might mean. The marking is AP-F-19-36.

What is interesting is that I have since removed all paint and primer and you can still see the markings. What ever they used for the marking, etched into the metal. The car was originally silver, the markings were purple in color?

thats very interesting. almost makes me want to strip the paint off my firewall just to see if I have numbers... almost
