59 Fairlane needs more whoa

I've got a 1959 Ford Fairlane Galaxie 500 that's basically bone stock. I'd like to add disc brakes and a dual master without having to 'brake' the bank.. I've got a set of front brakes, spindles, rotors, calipers, etc from a '79 T-Bird I parted out a few years ago. All were blasted and painted and ready to install on another project that took a different direction. Some sites say they're a direct bolt on, but others disagree...

Have any of you done this, or know if it'll work or not?? Thx!

Re: 59 Fairlane needs more whoa

camber is the issue.  the T-bird, LTDII disc brake swap is a direct bolt on and works fantastic as far a stopping power however it is hard to get 0 camber or negative camber with these disc brakes, especially the lower the car sits.
