Body Sheet Metal

Ok,  another question.  What guage metal is most of the mid 1960 car bodies made of?     What do most folks use for patch panels if you don't buy a prestamped one?
Got a couple holes in the tail panel (golf ball size) that I am going to attempt to patch soon.  Also need to repair the battery area and rad support that it attaches too that has been rusted out.

Thanks!!

Thanks!!   I need to round up some to make patches for the tail panel and battery box area.  Once I get the sheet metal patched, I can start some more of the serious work (fixiing the chopped up wiring and prepping for paint.)
