1959 fairlane window replacement?

Just bought a 1959 Ford Fairlane Galixie 500 need a little adice on how to get the door windows out?

Do you have the shop manual, if not, get one. Lots of good information to be had. I'm doing the glass in my '59 Custom that has the door frame around the glass, not the same car. I'll dig out my manual later this evening and see if that has anything helpful.

I would pop off the door panel & inside handles of course. The bottom of the glass has a track that the regulator arms ride in, there are 2 bushings that locate the arms. Also at the bottom of the door towards the latch is a window stop bracket, they had to come out on my Custom so I could drop the window lower. If your car has no upper door frame, this should allow the glass to come out. The regulator should stay in. I've also pulled out the vent window and glass in one shot, makes it real easy on the Custom model.

I had the manual out the other day and installation depends on what model you have. The model number is on the VIN tag, mine is a 64F, so look for something like that.
