on a 63 1/2 galaxie the rocker panel trim is pointy on both ends. One end is slightly more angled ..or point is longer. So which end goes to the front. There is one on Ebay but he says RH trim but I'm not sure.

I believe the point ligns up with the whee opening so that would make the pointier end in the front, correct??

I think your right. I think the front is the longer point. It has a 45 degree edge on it that looks like it follows the wheel well.
