Trunk Weatherstripping for a 1967 Ford Galaxie Fastback?

So I have a 1967 Galaxie Fastback.  I've been searching for a place to get weatherstripping for my trunk and all I can find is the Trunk Lid Seal/Weatherstripping.  I was told this product attaches to the actual trunk lid and not the actual trunk where it looks like weatherstripping is suppose to go.

Does anyone know if there is an actual trunk weatherstripping product that is sold for a 1967 Galaxie Fastback or can the Trunk Lid Seal be installed within the grooves of the trunk where it looks like the trunk weatherstripping is suppose to go?  Or is the Trunk Lid Seal work well enough by itself to keep out the elements of rain?

I've never seen a seal that glues to the trunk lid. I don't know if the 67 used some crazy trunk seal different from every other year, but they all seem fairly similar and standard to me. Google should get you to all the stndard parts places, Dearborn Classics, Auto Krafters, Dennis Carpenter, Concours Auto Parts, MAC's, etc. There are also many weatherstripping only sites.

Dennis Carpenter shows the same trunk seal from 62 - 69. http://dennis-carpenter.com/trunk-lid-seal/p/C3AZ-6243720-A/

On my 62 the seal glues to the trunk lid and then presses into the channel in the car.  the reason for this is moisture drainage.  if you glue the weather stripping into the channel there is the potential for water to not drain correctly.  I used two Mustang trunk seals on my old gal and it worked fantastic, was basically the same as what my care came with and was way less expensive than going with a Galaxie specific trunk seal. yes I have two seams instead of one but that is what glue is for.

here is a pic of a 62 trunk lid with the weather stripping glued to the lid.  I can't imagaine Ford id it much differently in 67, but I guess they could have changed it.
