    Body Swap

    I have a 66 ford custom 500 4 door that was my grandfather's patrol car. The body is for the most part rusted beyond reasonable repair. I was thinking of just swapping the body out with one that is decent. I would like to find a galaxie 500 2 door coupe but I wasn't sure if the bolt pattern would be the same on both chassis? Anyone ran into this or know where I could get some info? Thanks.

    body swap should not be an issue especially if you are planning a frame off restoration, however if you are not planning a full frame of restoration a drive train swap to a decent car would be a lot simpler IMHO.
