Ford vs "brand X" !!!!

I've been doing a lot of reading on the net regarding a mild build on the heads for my 351c.
and I mean a lot of reading, so you know how Ford is always second to Chevy, everything Chevy is
better... Well thats what $$$$$$$$$$$$ does for your image...
So I remember running across a site that had done  some dyno testing Ford vs Chevy...
so take a look
http://www.hotrod.com/techarticles/engine/hrdp_1001_muscle_car_engine_shootout/viewall.html

so when some brand X tells says somthing, you have it from the horses mouth.
now to be honest, and who's not. you can build a high HP engine that could not get off the line at a green
light, or a mid HP that can really move... and any combo you like.
But the guys that built these engines I think were as fair as possible... for a change.
After about what 35 years, it shows that the Cleveland was the better small block at Ford. instead of
building the W line, they should have stayed with the Cleveland block and just improved it.
they still could have had the 400 for larger cars and LT,  and since an engine is nothing but an air pump
looking at the C flow numbers (more air, less gas)  more power less emissions...
I did notice that they never got into the "BB" motors... how would a 396\427 compare to the 429 Boss
motor

Best
