I'm in the process of painting my 65 Galaxie and looking for anyone with experience in removing and replacing the side trim. The door pieces are pretty accessible after removing the door panels but the front and rear pieces look to be inaccessible without removing the front fenders, etc. Would be great to be able to remove it and screw new attachment clips in from the outside and clip the trim back on rather than haviing to access the inside to bolt the aftermarket clips I have. My option is of course to tape off the trim.
If anyone has a source for clips that can be screwed in from the outside, adhesive tape alternatives I'd appreciate hearing from you.

As a follow up for anyone interested, I got brave enough to remove the front and rear trim and those clips are screwed in from the outside unlike most of the door trim clips which must be replace from the inside. So access may not be an issue after all. I had initially assumed that the other trim pieces went on the same as the door since the door piece was the only one that had been removed. Looks like Concourse Parts in NV may have the original stye beltline clips.
