the body plate in my galaxie 1959 have been lost when the car get paintwork how do i get a new plate?

Not sure if anyone in the aftermarket is making them for the early Galaxie, but if not you may be able to get a Mustang plate or some other later Ford plate made with the correct info of your Galaxie. The biggest problem you will have is getting the correct info if you no longer have it. If you have a picture of the old plate or you know exactly what it said than no problem but if you do not have that info there are no records out there to tap into. In the late 60s that info was starting to be saved by Ford but cars before that came in all kinds of combos and there were often times lots of dealer mods made with no national record of the changes or even a record of how the cars left the line. So without the original info there is no way to get it back.
