223 L6 plugs leaking

I had the 223 L6 engine rebuilt last year for my '61 Galaxie. Finally installed it & got it started a few months ago, but after it warmed up I noticed oil spurting out of the breather cap. I put on a new breather cap, and while the oil stopped leaking from there, I noticed that it was suddenly leaking from the oil galley plugs right behind the distributor. Thread sealant didn't stop the leak, so I don't know what to do now. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm wondering if it's a result of high pressure/poor crankcase ventilation (engine has a road-draft tube, not PCV), but that's just a wild guess. Advice, anyone?

Re: 223 L6 plugs leaking

unless your road draft tube was blocked, even then you would still have gases excaping.
more like your oil pump might be putting out to much pressure, not sure that blocked
passages would cause that..
And you can have to high of pressure....not often happens but it can.
you could find a plug on the oil galley and put a gauge in to see...
