Hello to you guys.....Have a quick question

I have a 64 Galaxie Convert and looking for a little help on the front drum brakes. How do you take off the wheel cylinder?.On the back is only the bleeder and the hose going into it but the cylinder has the large tab on the back, top side of it.Do you remove the large bolt from behind it the goes thru the spindle or do you remove the large nut on the front that has the 3 metal tabs bent over it,so it will not move.
Thanks for any helpand i am the proud owner of a 64 Galaxie 500 Vert that appears to be fully restored by has some little nagging issues to deal with.

I guess you are wanting to take it off to replace it. Look at your new one and it should be obvious how it attaches. If still not obvious, then you are really needing a shop manual for guidance. In any case, there is no substitute for having an official  Ford Shop manual. The time and money saved by having one can't be over estimated.

removing the nut on the back should alow you to get the weel cylinder out.  Pull it from the back rather than messing with the holder on the front.
