Transmission cooler lines on a C-6

Anyone know the correct tubing size for the C-6 transmission oil cooler lines?   Going to have to fab up some for mine.  Previous owner just stuck bolts in the cooler line connections on the Tranny so it has no cooling.

Re: Transmission cooler lines on a C-6

might sound stupid, but won't the tube size be dictated by the fitting?

Most cooling lines are either 5/16" or 3/8 depending on the fitting size.

Thanks!   I wasn't sure and wanted to have some of the correct size tubing on hand when I crawl under there to start to fab up a set of lines.

Maybe a little late to reply, but if not sure on tranny line size, why not slide a tube flaring tool on your existing tubing. All of the holes on the tool have the hole size stamped on them. That way you will know for sure what size it is.

Good idea, but I don't have any lines.   The previous owner put bolts in the line fitting holes.

I'm a big guy so I want to have all my parts ready so I don't have to crawl under there any more than needed hehehe..

Thanks
