Show Me Your Ride(s)

There is one disadvantage to this forum compared to the old one, and that is we lost our slideshow at the top of the forum.  To compensate for that I have created this thread and pinned it to the top of the forum so we can all share some pix of our projects.  I don't care if its unrestored, a pile of parts, fully restored or in some other configuration, lets see it.  In fact of you have some other make or model...say a Chevy truck for instance, lets see that too.

This is my 62 Galaxie 4-door:
high performance 302
5-speed manual transmission
4-wheel disc brakes with hydroboost power booster
Non OEM bucket seats

This is what it looked like when I bought it

One that died so that mine might live

Fox body engine mounts allowed me to drop the 302 right in

Hydroboost unit

Rear disc brakes

Re: Show Me Your Ride(s)

I've been a member of this forum since I bought my 1966 Galaxie 500 in 2008.  I'll always be a novice but I'm learning more all the time.

September 2008 I started with this

and another 1966 parts car.

My 2 favorite photos.

I'm also in the early stages of a frame off resto of a 1965 Chevy C10 short bed stepside.  I document my progress on my website.  Please visit at www.Lugnutz65Chevystepside.weebly .com

Re: Show Me Your Ride(s)

Here is my main project.  It is a 62 Galaxie 500 XL that my grandfather bought brand new.  I did a mini restoration on it when I first got it over 25 years ago, and then about 9 years ago I started a frame off restoration and am still working on it.

About a year ago I bought this wagon and have done a ton of work on it in the last year which means nothing got done on my main project, the XL.

I also have this 63 Galaxie 500 XL 4 door hardtop that I have done a bunch of work on this past year also.

Here is an engine pic of the 63.
