i have been trying to find information about the '67 galaxie convertible and hope some of you can help. i bought the car from a friend and he always said it was a 390 Q code motor. everything i find says that is the 426 cid. can someone shed some light or direct me where to find info on this motor? thanks.

there are different engine codes for each year
ex
year 1962 Q-390 high performance
1963-64 Q-427
1966-70? Q-428
it is the fifth letter in vin

my mistake. talked to my friend and read some of the forum posts. found out it is a Z code 390 cid and that makes sense. i just had to do more reading and less guessing. thanks guys.
