I have a 1967 Galaxie 500 XL 2 door Fastback with 390 "H" code that has a Holly 4160 4V in it now with a C6 trans. Engine recently
rebuilt with flat top pistons and otherwise stock. This is the second FE that I have worked on. First FE was a Mustang and there is a lot to learn about this car and I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge and gathering knowledge from the others on this forum.

Welcome! Not a Mustang owner, but have been learning the MANY idiosyncrasies of my first gen Cougar, so I am with you on learning a new car. Can't wait to see pics.

As a former owner of a heavy duty Mustang, I have noted that some of the parts look like the Galaxie. If a person is careful, they can use the Mustang parts suppliers, which are plentiful, and get some things from them or at a swap meet. I have got to get a parts interchange manual and a service manual.
