    1967 Galaxie 289 throttle

    This past week I just went to move my Galaxie around in the shop. I got in, pumped the throttle once and felt a snap. Here the throttle cable broke just behind the "eye" that attaches to the pedal. It's still the original throttle cable with the Ford part number tag on it. Does anyone know where I can get a correc replacement, or has anyone had luck repairing the braided cable? Thank you.

    1967 Ford Galaxie 500, convertible, factory A/C, 289, 3 speed with overdrive.

    Try the usual resto parts places and maybe even Rock Auto. Dennis carpenter, AutoKratfers, Concours Parts, Dearborn Classics, MAC's, etc.

    Thank you! I was originally looking on Dearborn Classics but did not see one.
