Hi Guys,
I know this is a difficult issue, but do anyone knows any manufacturer that build upper control Arms for a 68 Ford Galaxie 500 Xl (instead of original) for improving the handling? I think it is impossible to get lower ones too?
Greetings, Manu

Fat Man Fabrications might be a good place to start for tubular control arms. You could probably also adapt circle track racing parts. Are you looking to run autocross? Springs, shocks and sway bars are probably going to do a lot for your handling, especially if you're building a street car.

70XL is correct I Fat Man sells a tubular arm for the Galaxie but I do not know what years, and be prepared for sticker shock as their arms are extremely expensive. I also agree with him that:

If you took the money that tubular arms cost and put most of it into other suspension parts then used whats left to box in your OEM arms, I think you will be far better off.

I still have done upgrades on the Other Chassis Parts on the front and the rear, new 1" lowering springs, KYB Shocks, thicker sway bar, PU -bushings... The last piece that is missing are the control Arms. I loooked on fatman fabrication, can't find any for this year.:/ Do you have any Other suggestions were i can find them?

If fat man doesn't have them, I don't think you will find them. As I see it that leaves you with three options, you can take the stock pieces and box them in for strength, you can have custom arms built at a local fab shop or you can try to make a generic aftermarket arms work. Personally I would box in the OEM parts and call it good.

From what I've read others say about Fatman Fab, you have to call them on the phone and discuss with them what you're looking for. It sounds like their website is not a complete list of what they have to offer.
I still don't think tubular arms will make any difference, unless you can't get the stock arms to adjust to the alignment specs you are trying to achieve, outside of the limits of the stock adjustments.

Boxing in upper a-arms for a Galaxie? These things are very strong as is. The only ones I've ever seen bent were from accidents. And in case of a crash, you want something to give and the a-arms are a good sacrificial lamb.
Look at Speedway, they have a load of IMCA stock car arms. You'll have to know a couple of dimensions and then deal with getting a ball joint to agree with the spindles.
