Today while removing the old sound deadener in the Galaxie, I found a piece of crumpled up paper. When I opened it, to my surprise was a build sheet. Interesting part is that it was from another car. A 1961 white four door town sedan with a 292 engine. I can only assume it was forgotten in some assembly line worker's pocket and when they discovered in their pocket, tossed it under the sound deadener?

That is a very cool find. Unusual, but cool!! How close is the vin of that car to your vin??

The numbers are not close. I was able to get some information out of the VIN, however some information I can't. For example: Axle is 16, Radiator F, Inst. Board is 3, Trans is K, ETC...
BTW if anyone out there collects this sort of thing and would want the build sheet, send me a PM and I can mail it out? Anybody own this car...long shot?
