Daze,
I stumbled upon your rear disc brake and hydroboost article on another site. I am happy to discover through this forum that you are the author. I am installing a 4.6 in the 61 and will need to convert to hydroboost due to the wide engine and clearance issues. I will be tackling this job in the spring...hope you don't mind if I pick your brain when I get there.

A Toploader 4-speed was Ford's in-house built 4-speed transmission. Prior to 1964, Ford used the Borg Warner T-10. The Toploaders internals load through the top of the transmission, thus the name "Toploader". It is a stronger design than transmissions with side inspection plates. Go to www.DavidKeeToploaders.com for more information.

Hi, I'm Dan from Western Australia, and some of you will know me from FordMuscle Forums.
I have a 1970 Galaxie 500 Sportsroof with a 460/C6 which I have owned since 1988, and in 2009 I bought a 1963 1/2 Galaxie 500 which someone in it's past must have gone through some effort to fit a matching (or very close) dated 427 R code engine.
Yep I know.....pictures will come LOL!
