Does this sound like a high compression motor? It is a circle track engine. I did not get a chance to do a compression check on it.

I don't know about compression from listening to it, but it either has a pretty lumpy cam, or the timing is off. Give it a good tune up and check the compression of all cylinders.

It definitely has a lumpy cam. I put new plugs in it prior to, and it has an electronic ignition.
