Daze or anyone doing the R&P swap
Is there a bearing that fits the end of the column but not inside the shift tube?
Since I had a stick column I don't have the shifter tube end
For the 1 3/8 bearing..
Is there one that fits the entire tube end?

Sorry but I can't help there. I put a Mustang column in my Galaxie which has a bigger diameter.

I just did an eBay search for a bearing 1&3/8 and found this

The 1 3/8 bearing fits inside the shifter tube of the galaxie
Which mine doesn't have
So I guess I'm looking for the inside diameter of the colum itself type bearing
I thought someone on here did iit that way
I also might go with A 69 Lincoln tilt column
It's the same length as the galaxie column
But has a D shaft already coming out of the column to work with
And I will need to add the support bracket to dash mount

Do a search for "Bearing or bushing". I previously posted a picture and a question about using a bearing vs bushing for the column with the R&P swap. It may provide you with some ideas?

I hope the Lincoln column isn't longer than the Galaxie column! If so, you may have issues with u-joint binding when connecting the rack to the column as the u-joint angles will be to sharp.
