Dan or daze or anyone else dong the swap
Is there an easy way to find the center of ther steering rack?
I need to make
Sure it's dead center before mounting the offset bracket
I tried counting the turns of the steering shaft
But it comes up to
An
Odd rotation that can't be just cut in half.
Or at least in my brain lol
If I use a fixed point can I measure off the center mount bolts to figure it out?

Many steering systems have part rotations as their travel, like 3 1/2 turns lock to lock, etc. To help the find the physical centre you could turn it all the the way one direction, mark the end point and then turn all the way the other way and measure the between the two. That will give you the travel of the rack and you can figure out the rest from there.

When I mocked mine up I removed the accordion boot. Then finding center was as simple as measuring from the end of the limiting block and the end of the window.
