Got a 4 spd car that has NO seal around the steering column. Cant find one. Does anyone make them? Any suggestions? Maybe make one? How?

Are you talking about the rubber seal on the floorboard? Have you tried finding something on EBay? To make one I would suggest using a piece of rubber sound deadener. Make a jig out of heavy construction paper or cardboard first and then transfer the pattern to the sound deadener pad. The pads are often referred to as self adhesive butyl sound deadening panels. You can buy them in individual sheets 12" x 12" or by the roll. Many autobody supply shops sell them.

Thanks Dan that's a good idea. I am reluctant to use ebay for this particular item, as often times the seller doesnt really know what he has to sell. I dont need to buy something that doesnt work. LoL. However, do you know if the clutch rod hole is in the rubber area of the seal, or in the metal portion that clamps around the seal? I bought a clutch rod seal that looks like it is independent of the column seal and much smaller. Thanks for your reply.

You are welcome, glad I could offer an alternative. Sorry don't know about the clutch rod seal, but I do wish my car was a 4 speed! lol
